Gita Wisdom translated and commented by popular lecturer Joshua M. Greene is the story-within-the-story of Prince Arjuna who, on the verge of battle and foreseeing the carnage to come, turns to his friend and adviser Krishna who also serves as Arjuna’s charioteer. Their dialogue comprises India’s most beloved scripture theBhagavad Gita, whose enduring message is love’s transformative power even in the most dire of circumstances. Gita Wisdom offers scholars and general readers alike a superb summary to this seminal wisdom text.
